oook I’ll quit singing, but it’s ball mania here at my house. It’s all I hear from the menfolk in the house… and for that matter… from the little girl too. If your house is anything like mine, you’re all gearing up for baseball season.
Many of you know last year I spent a lot of time taking action shots of the boys playing baseball. You were free to buy if you so chose. However, this year, I’m going to have to do things differently. I have 3 kids now, playing 3 different leagues, and I just won’t be able to devote as much time to random action shots, that you may… or may not.. want. So if you are interested in action shots of your child, you will need to get in touch with me at the beginning of the season. Let me know your child’s name, number, and team. I’m available for any buddy league, little league, or little girls softball.
ALSO I’m offering mini sessions if you would like some new and exciting “Sportraits” for your child. :)

Oh man. I’m such a bad person!! I can’t believe I haven’t putten these up before now!! I honestly thought I did, I promise. But somehow over the course of time, and borrowing my son’s computer for all things internet.. I just missed it somehow.
I met with Michael a couple weeks ago. He’s such a nice, polite person. I had a great time photographing him, and he was totally up for anything. He would just grin, say yes ma’am, and do anything I asked. Climbing up in brick windows, crawling through cut down branches adn debris… no problem. He was up for it all. Who could ask for more??

Jerri and I finally got together this past week to get her senior pictures done. It seems all my sessions lately have had to be rescheduled several times.. usually do to weather!! (I have had more rain than I want to deal with I promise!!!). But we managed to find a dry day Friday… well at least partially dry. We still had to jump over mud puddles, and avoid most grass. But I had a GREAT time. Jerri brought her boyfriend and her mom along with her. They had me laughing through the whole session. I even managed to get a few of Jerri and Keith together. The one posted here in the sneak peek is when they were being “serious”. You two remember that if you always laugh together like that, you can make it through anything. :) Hope you enjoy your sneak Jerri.

First I want to apologize to Cliff for taking SO long to get this sneak peek up. My computer is still not hooked up to the internet, and I admit to beign a bit lazy about getting the pictures off my computer and onto my son’s. LOL
Cliff’s session was a lesson in what can go wrong will. We had to reschedule a couple times, and when the day finally came, I went to the session without a memory card!!! What a rookie mistake and I couldn’t believe it! Luckily, Cliff is a friend of the family, and quite understanding. :) Cliff is teaching my son, Justus, to play the guitar, and I was happy to hear that he was bringing his guitar with him. I had every intention of getting some of the 2 of them, but with the absentmindedness of me, I ran out of time. Another time Cliff??

As we’re gearing into the Christmas season, we are all bombarded with messages of love, peace, goodwill toward men. My post today isn’t going to follow the typical path of my previous posts. But it is something that I think is important.
During the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, it’s so easy to talk about the good manners, love, goodwill, that is so abundantly tossed around. But the doing isn’t so easy, sometimes. Or at least we think it’s not. I encourage you this season, to remember others in your actions. In something as polite as holding the door open for someone, to smiling at a stranger.
We seem to have forgotten how to treat our fellow man. To put their thoughts and feelings foremost in our minds. Life’s not just about self… In fact, TRUE life is about selflessness. So if you can, make a point daily, to put someone ahead of yourself. Call if you aren’t going to be where you said, and someone is waiting on you. Spend a few extra minutes with someone who may need a shoulder to lean on. They say it takes 30 days to make a habit.
This is one habit I think we should all have.
And just because I can’t leave you without a picture… here’s one from my tree. I guess Jesus thought selflessness was a good habit to have, too.
