WOW!!  First let me apologize for not blogging in FOREVER.  That will change.  I promise.

I got to go out and play with a precious little girl yesterday, and she absolutely stole my heart!!  MK is the sweetest little girl, full of smiles, curiousity, and just oozes sweetness.  I must admit when I first got to hold her, she had that yummy baby smell, and I wanted another SOOO bad.  Don’t tell my husband, cuz he’ll cry if he hears me say that.. But I soo did.  I would bring her home with me in a heartbeat!!  But, sadly, lil’ MK has 4 older brothers, who I’m sure are totally smitten, and would be banging at my door if I brought her home.

So, I settled for a day of photos.  We started out at noon, when mom knew she’d be happiest.  (although I honestly don’t think she has an unhappy time!!).  It was a bright sunny day, and we found a field of white flowers to play in.  It went so sweetly with her little Easter dress.   There was only one problem.  Miss MK quickly discovered those pretty flowers… and decided they were quite tasty!  Mom had quite a time trying to keep them out of little hands and a greedy mouth.  But one thing about MK.. she was determined!!  It didn’t take me long to realize I needed to find a patch of grass that didn’t have all those flowers! LOL  While it didn’t completely deter her.. it did slow her down enough that we were able to grab some totally fun pictures.

Later that day we met again for some fun tutu shots.  MK was STILL all smiles.  Seriously, she has my heart!!  Well.. just check out the pictures.  I know she’ll steal yours also!!!

Michael’s Senior Pictures

February 11, 2010

Oh man. I’m such a bad person!! I can’t believe I haven’t putten these up before now!! I honestly thought I did, I promise. But somehow over the course of time, and borrowing my son’s computer for all things internet.. I just missed it somehow.

I met with Michael a couple weeks ago. He’s such a nice, polite person. I had a great time photographing him, and he was totally up for anything. He would just grin, say yes ma’am, and do anything I asked. Climbing up in brick windows, crawling through cut down branches adn debris… no problem. He was up for it all. Who could ask for more??

Jerri’s senior pictures

January 25, 2010

Jerri and I finally got together this past week to get her senior pictures done. It seems all my sessions lately have had to be rescheduled several times.. usually do to weather!! (I have had more rain than I want to deal with I promise!!!). But we managed to find a dry day Friday… well at least partially dry. We still had to jump over mud puddles, and avoid most grass. But I had a GREAT time. Jerri brought her boyfriend and her mom along with her. They had me laughing through the whole session. I even managed to get a few of Jerri and Keith together. The one posted here in the sneak peek is when they were being “serious”. You two remember that if you always laugh together like that, you can make it through anything. :) Hope you enjoy your sneak Jerri.

First I want to apologize to Cliff for taking SO long to get this sneak peek up. My computer is still not hooked up to the internet, and I admit to beign a bit lazy about getting the pictures off my computer and onto my son’s. LOL

Cliff’s session was a lesson in what can go wrong will. We had to reschedule a couple times, and when the day finally came, I went to the session without a memory card!!! What a rookie mistake and I couldn’t believe it! Luckily, Cliff is a friend of the family, and quite understanding. :) Cliff is teaching my son, Justus, to play the guitar, and I was happy to hear that he was bringing his guitar with him. I had every intention of getting some of the 2 of them, but with the absentmindedness of me, I ran out of time. Another time Cliff??

What a little sweetie pie lil’ River was!! I’m not sure he was as enamored of me as I was of him though. LOL So when we found a spot the little guy was happy in… well, we pretty much left him there. ;) I even got him to look at me once! YAY ME! LOL By his next session, we’ll be bestest friends. LOL

We started out at the White River by Dondies. Our biggest issue was the wind coming in and blowing on the poor guy. He just wasn’t lovin’ it at all. We did get some great pics of him in his dad’s guitar case before we pulled up stakes and headed out to the museum. We were able to block the wind of him much easier there, and I think he was more content. Though, still leery of me and my camera. LOL

I have to admit, listening to the little baby cries, kinda got me wantin’ another! Just don’t tell my husband though!!!
