I was able to meet with Greenleigh and her parents again this morning. She’s such a beautiful baby girl!! This was the 2nd part of our session, and while she wasn’t sure she LIKED me this time… she wasn’t sure she HATED me either. ;) I’m growing on her! :D

Hope y’all enjoy your (2nd) sneak peek!

I have to say it!

Can you GET more cuter than this couple??? I had SUCH fun with Brad and Leigh Sunday afternoon. I have to admit to being TOTALLY STOKED when Leigh called me to set up a session. I adore doing engagements and couple sessions. And right now they’ve been pretty few and far between. I think I was more excited than Leigh (and DEFINITELY more excited than Brad!) for the session to start.

We started out at their cabin. I just love it when someone suggests a place that is important to THEM. It just makes their pictures that much more unique to them. Afterwards we went down to Robinwood out by Wattensaw, then hit some haybales on our way back to town.

They’ve been married 3.5 years, but haven’t had any portraits taken since they were married. I figured we’d handle it much like an engagement session. It was SO interesting to see how differently a session goes when one is ANTICIPATING being married, and when one has been married for a few years. ;) I couldn’t help but laugh when I asked them to sit in a certain spot, and instead of sitting all snuggled up together (much like those about to get married would do), they sat somewhat by each other, without touching or anything. :D (Much like a married couple would do! LOL) But they ended up getting into it. :)

We had a ton of fun (or at least I did!). Leigh has such an infectious giggle, and kept me laughing the whole time. Brad, Leigh, I hope you two enjoy your sneak peek. As soon as I finish getting rid of all the mosquitos from your faces, your images will be ready to view. ;)

I couldn’t have asked for a more laid back family! When I finally got the chance to meet with this family, it was after 2 reschedules due to rainy weather. We got up Wednesday morning to find out rain was planning to come and make us reschedule again! I think it was pure will and determination on our part that held the storms off til late in the night. ;)

We decided to meet at the Prairie County courthouse to begin our session. The plan was to move from there to the horse barn and “pumkin patch” (or at least the closest thing to one Des Arc can claim!). However, due to a very overcast evening, and quickly fading light, we rescheduled (ha!) the last half of the session. We’re following up with the 2 little ones next Wednesday, so for now I hope you enjoy your family sneak peek. :)

My session with the Goodman’s was a ton of fun. Who can’t have fun with 3 boys full of life like these 3? This session centered mainly around the youngest son, capturing the joy of childhood at it’s finest. Lil’ man H. was full of life, and most definitely full of energy!

You can tell H. has 2 brothers that dote on him, along with loving parents. And it’s easy to see why! Just look at that gorgeous smile.

I had such fun meeting Ticia and her GORGEOUS family. When they arrived at the Prairie County museum , I was greeted by the most PRECIOUS, DARLING children. And sooo sweet. They were full of smiles and just a joy to be around!

Ticia, I hope y’all enjoy your sneak peek.
